Good Buddy Plumbing is a small plumbing company that started on Vancouver Island in the summer of 2024. The company wanted to have a tone and overall feeling of friendliness and approachability. Harkening back to the idea of that neighbourly feeling of knowing your handyman. The look was to have a nod to a retro 1960’s vibe, while also still having a modern flair. Along with a group of “buddies” that would be primary characters of the brand and would be able to appear in various areas throughout the visual identity of Good Buddy Plumbing. The main logo mark was developed using a typeface and adapting it to make it a bit more individualistic, it has a friendliness to it while also still feeling grounded and dependable. While the symbol version of the logo mark integrates our main “quality control” water buddy bringing that iconic thumbs up for a quality job done right! The brand always holds a feeling of “getting the job done right” while also keeping it in a fun and humanist territory.
